Commercial Marble and Stone Polishing in Miami
Dull marble in a Miami lobby, corridor or shared area needs a surface assessment before a polishing plan. MB Clean Solutions reviews the material, existing finish and visible condition with you. Define the appearance you want, the areas involved and the routes that must remain accessible.
Separate surface problems before requesting polishing
Cleaning residue or soil
A cloudy surface may need suitable cleaning before any polishing decision. Share the current care products and previous coating information to avoid treating every dull patch as wear.
Etching and uneven finish
Acid exposure can alter marble’s finish. An etch mark and a stain are different issues and may occur together. Assessment should distinguish cleaning from any proposed refinishing.
Stone and finish expectations
Identify marble, another natural stone or terrazzo rather than assuming they use the same method. Discuss a honed or polished appearance and any test area before agreeing the work.
Crack and structural repairs, loose stone, lippage correction, replacement, coating removal and stain treatment are not automatically included. Sealing is a separate product-specific decision. A glossy finish does not establish slip resistance or guarantee removal of all damage.
Plan access at your property
- 1
List the stone areas, approximate accessible square footage and problem locations. Include material records and photos if available; photographs alone cannot confirm the cause.
- 2
For a Miami condo, office or hotel, identify the approving building contact, loading access, elevator arrangements and any vendor documentation needed.
- 3
Agree furniture movement, protection of adjacent areas and alternate routes. Describe preferred work phases and when pedestrians, furniture and carts need to return.
Agree when to reopen
Confirm the proposed treatment, any compatible sealer and their return-to-use instructions. Agree who inspects the finished area, which limitations remain and the ongoing cleaning instructions. An after-hours preference is reviewed with the scope before scheduling.
Define each line of the proposal
Separate areas, preparation, treatment and optional work. Name who moves items and whether multiple visits are needed. The building’s total area may differ from the area being treated.

Questions before booking
Will polishing remove every marble stain?
No. Staining and surface etching are different conditions and can occur together. Identify the material, likely cause and depth before agreeing treatment. Stain removal is not an automatic result of polishing.
Can terrazzo be included in a Miami stone polishing request?
Yes, list it separately and provide any known binder, coating and care information. Terrazzo requires its own assessment. If the need is soil or residue removal, start with the terrazzo cleaning scope.
Does polishing include sealing?
Not automatically. Sealing depends on the stone, existing products and manufacturer requirements. The proposal should identify any compatible sealer, its purpose, limitations and return-to-use instructions separately.
What affects a commercial stone polishing quote in Miami?
Material, condition, desired finish, accessible area, edges, furniture movement and work phases affect the scope. Use the published range as a reference and request a written proposal describing the treatment and exclusions.
